Heat week is on hold - Nothing's wrong - I'm fine.

Many of you have been so kind as to express concern. There is nothing wrong that a bit more time will not take care of. Truth be told, I'm publishing my first book, prepping a second one for publishing and finishing writing a third one. Titles: "The Anger Management Cookbook," "The Kinder, Gentler Cookbook," and "Spam a lot, Velveeta a leetle, and other food oddities."

I am reading your posts each morning and commenting briefly when I have something worth saying (which is not always). I adore you all and I'm having an exhilarating time getting my own material out into the ether. (Are any of you old enough to remember when ether was the anesthesia you got when you had your tonsils out? They'd tell you to count backwards from 100. I recall getting to 97.)

Sounds like you had some pleasant jalapenos. I would love to try too!

I love your quote about jalapenos being non-threatening, too funny! Now I want to go out and make some poppers to go with the chicken I'm grilling tonight.

Mmmmm, sounds wonderful, love the smoking! We've been talking about how sometimes you can get jalapenos that are very spicy and then other times not so much.

Yeah, you're pretty funny. I know exactly what you mean with the tp as I have to freeze it after eating the chili our older son makes. I hope day 5 is really hot---I could use the recipe for him and his uncle who claim there are no peppers nor a dish that's too hot to eat.

I hope everything is okay Stephen.

Hi, I look forward on your new book. Those jalapenos looks great. My husband is from Denver and he misses the smell of roasted peppers when they do that during Fall season.
That is so sweet of you to dropped me a couple notes. I am okay. My schedule is too hectic since late last year. Hopefully I can get back in blogging again. Look forward to your next post, and of course the book.
