Things of interest (at least to me)

As I look at my list of postings and how many comments there are, I am challenged to figure out what causes a greater interest in some things. I don't have a solution yet. I've said this before, but want to reiterate: my apologies for the fact that I don't read dessert recipes or other ones for sweets. I don't eat sweets. It ain't anything personal. I found a couple of small strip steaks yesterday at the Giant. Not the greatest meal I've ever made, but with some beet greens and some grits it made for a nice supper.

When you figure it out let me know. The steak look awesome.. I have things posted that soar in popularity that take no time at all to make then there are others extensive, creative and very cherished through the years that have no attention at all... you are correct though my most popular post is a cupcake, one of my first posts and very bad photo... this is an intriguing titled post it caught me eye for sure!

People are finicky.. who knows what they want and what the don't want. I do believe, though, that there are a lot more people out there that read our blogs that don't actually comment. Heck, I was a lurker myself until I got my own blog...
Hang in there.. I have faith you will figure it out!

The steaks look good Stephen!! My daughter has been asking me to make her some steak so maybe I'll do that today. See you inspired me :) As far as comments goes who knows!! I know there are days when I feel like commenting on everyones posts and other days when its hard to get me to want to type a simple "yum". Nothing personal :) Keep on doing what you're doing, I for one enjoy it :)

Good for you about not eating sweets - I wish I didn't. The steaks look wonderful and I think should always cause a stir. They are just so mouthwatering. These look like they have been grilled beautifully - or cooked on a grill pan?
Mary (how many minutes a side?)

People always migrate to certain things that peak their interest - me, I'm definitely a fan of steak dinners like this =)

Beautiful steak Stephen. It is tricky I think with the popularity of the posts. I find my sweet posts tend to get more comments... but personally I'm more of a savoury person.
